Acting Office, the UK’s first AI-enabled full enterprise platform built specifically for accountancy firms, has appointed Mark McNee, former EMEA chief at Frontline Accounting, as its new Commercial Director.
Bringing more than 15 years’ experience from leading accountancy and fintech organisations, including Intuit and Dext, McNee will play a central role in accelerating Acting Office’s growth strategy. His responsibilities will include expanding the company’s commercial reach, driving sales activity and supporting its wider market development.
McNee will also draw on his extensive background in AI and SaaS technologies to advance the capabilities of Acting Office’s all-in-one software platform. The system provides large accounting practices with a streamlined solution covering AML and compliance onboarding, cloud integration and secure authentication, helping firms consolidate their technology needs into a single, unified environment.
The appointment follows Acting Office’s recent accreditation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). The certification confirms its status as a trusted supplier within the Business Management Software and Financial Products Software categories.
